She specialises in relationship conflicts, suicide prevention, parenting matters and grief and loss.
Her qualifications include Bachelor of Counselling (Griffith University), Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution (College of Law), and accreditation with the Federal Attorney-General’s Department.
In her counselling work, Sue uses a client-centred approach, drawing on a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on the client’s needs and preferences. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally Focussed Therapy, motivational and change theories, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
As a mediator, Sue ensures that each party to the mediation feels heard, understood and respected. She is committed to helping people find solutions that are child-focussed and realistic so they can begin building a better future.
